Everybody Poops! Grab Your FREE Gut Fairy Coloring Book
Okay, parents. We need to talk about poop. Yes, again!
If you have a child who hides behind the couch when they need to poop, refuses to sit on the toilet, or acts like going to the bathroom is the worst thing that could possibly happen, I get it. My daughter Madelyn was a poop holder when she was little, and let me tell you, when one person in the house isn't pooping, the whole family knows about it!
That's one of the reasons I created The Gut Fairy's Poop Power Coloring Book, a FREE, 12-page printable coloring book that helps kids learn about their bodies, bathroom habits, and gut health without making poop a scary or embarrassing subject.
Let's Make Poop Fun!
Kids are curious, and sometimes the easiest way to start a conversation is with a box of crayons and a little humor. This coloring book introduces your child to The Gut Fairy and includes silly poop characters, a kid-friendly Bristol Stool Chart, an Eat the Rainbow activity, and pages about drinking water, moving their bodies, potty posture, sleep, and everyday habits that support healthy digestion.
And yes, we're going to encourage your kids to look in the toilet before they flush. Because how can we talk about poop if nobody wants to look at it?
My goal isn't to make your child obsessed with their poop. I want them to feel comfortable talking about it, recognize when something doesn't feel right, and know they can tell you if going to the bathroom hurts or feels difficult.
A Little Coloring, a Little Learning, and a Lot Less Poop Drama
Print the book, grab some crayons, and sit down with your child. You don't have to finish every page in one day. Color a page together, laugh at the silly poop characters, and use it as an opportunity to ask a few questions. Is pooping easy? Does it ever hurt? Do they sometimes feel like they need to go but don't want to?
And remember, if your child is regularly struggling with constipation, withholding poop, or having painful bowel movements, a coloring book is a conversation starter, not a replacement for appropriate medical care.
